On behalf of the Ed Rinke family and all of us at GM Outlet Parts, we would like to wish our customers a safe and joyous Holidays. We know how hectic the Holidays can be at with family, so we’ve prepared a top 5 list of things to avoid.
1.) Big Parties in Small Houses
Staying warm in the winter is one thing, but being in a packed house with no heater and people are still sweating? You’re asking for warm sweating hugs and kisses from the elders. Turn on the AC!
2.) Did You Bring Enough Gifts?
Have you ever been that person that didn’t bring enough presents? Make sure to reach out to the host to see if there is anyone you may have missed.
3.) Separate the Age Groups
It is tough to catch up with family members when you need to be watching your kids. Get the older kids to monitor the little ones. You won’t have to worry about being interrupted for the little needs of the children – just the big ones.
4.) Pack Extra Clothing
Food during the Holidays never seems to disappoint and Uncle Jimmy can still eat a lot without gaining any weight. You try to eat as fast as you can for the first serving so you’ll have the first shot at the second serving. This “Pigging-out” action can lead to food on your clothes. So instead of jumping into slim Jimmy’s clothes, save yourself and pack your own clothes. If you’re going to a Christmas Eve party, don’t expect to be home by
5.) The Holidays Are Not Over
If you’re going to a Christmas Eve party, don’t expect to be home by 9pm. You can’t leave until the presents have been handed out by the designated family Santa Claus. You can try and leave, but don’t expect to leave with presents. The great thing about Holiday
Overall, the great thing about Holiday get togethers is being able to spend time with loved ones and get away from the busy life. Time flies when you’re having fun. So just enjoy the madness, but avoid the above situations.
Happy Holidays!
